Parting with money comes with a risk, will I get value, does it do what it says on the tin? Plenty of UK local authorities had a nervous time when the Icelandic Banks they had invested in ran into trouble last year. With hindsight its easy but the old saying comes to mind "if it looks too good to be true then it probably is....."
